Windows 11 Bluetooth Audio Stutter & Standby Disconnect Fix

Stop Windows 11 from dropping your Bluetooth A2DP audio link, stuttering on startup, or powering off JBL, Sony, and Bose speakers during silence.

BthA2dp.sys Driver & Bluetooth Sniff Mode

In Windows 11, the native Bluetooth A2DP audio driver (`BthA2dp.sys`) introduces aggressive power-saving protocols. When audio stops for more than 5 seconds, Windows shifts the Bluetooth radio link into **Sniff Mode** (a low-duty power-saving state).

When a new sound plays, transitioning the link back to **Active Mode** causes packet loss, initial audio stuttering, and severe delay. Furthermore, many Bluetooth speakers (JBL, Sony, Anker) trigger internal **Auto-Power-Down** timers when remaining in Sniff Mode for 10–15 minutes.

Affected Bluetooth Speakers

JBL Portable Speakers

JBL Flip 6, Charge 5, Xtreme 3, PartyBox. Prevents 15-minute hardcoded EU auto-power-down.

Sony & Bose

Sony SRS-XB33, SRS-XG300 & Bose SoundLink Flex/Revolve. Stops Sniff Mode audio stutter on Windows 11.

Marshall & Anker

Marshall Emberton, Stanmore & Anker Soundcore Motion+. Maintains active A2DP audio channel.

Windows 11 Adapters

Intel, Realtek, MediaTek onboard Bluetooth 5.0 / 5.2 / 5.3 chipsets.

Hold Bluetooth A2DP Link Active Continuously

SpeakerKeepAlive streams an inaudible carrier signal to prevent Windows 11 from shifting the Bluetooth radio into Sniff Mode, maintaining instant response time and zero disconnects.
